Inge Krogrygg

King Inge (* 1135 ; † February 4, 1161 ) was elected king over Norway at the age of two on the Borgarthing. At the same time his brother Sigurd Munn was honored as king on the Øyrathing. Another (half) brother Øystein also became king. Inge fought against the brothers for rule. It was the time of the great civil wars. He managed to defeat and kill both of them, but then lost to Sigurd Munn's son Håkon Herdebrei .

His father was Harald Gille , his mother Ingrid Ragnvaldsdatter , granddaughter of the Swedish King Inge Stenkilsson .
