Ingers Høj

The approximately 7.0 m high Ingers Høj is located about 500 m east of Sundbrovej, south of Vindeby in Bregninge in the north of the island of Tåsinge in the Syddanmark region in Denmark .

The huge round hill from the Bronze Age with a diameter of about 40.0 m is one of the largest in the country and easy to see on aerial photos. The Tåsingen Monuments No. 75 are a group of four hills with Ingershøj as the dominant center, which lies on the ridge that slopes north to Bregninge bakka. 100 years ago it was surrounded by a large stone circle. Tomb robbers caused damage in the 18th century, but it was removed. Known as eggershøy in 1572, the mound has never been archaeologically examined and nothing is known of any finds. There were at least five other large burial mounds nearby, but they were plowed away.

The Langdysser in Granskoven are nearby .
