The Inglewood United Soccer Club ( Inglewood United for short ) is an Australian soccer club from Inglewood , a suburb of the Western Australian capital Perth .
history
The club was founded in 1951 by Ukrainian immigrants under the name Kiev Soccer Club , the club colors blue and yellow were chosen based on the Ukrainian flag . In 1963, the club played for the first time in the top division of Western Australia , in the same year the Walter Road Reserve pitch, which is still in use today, was moved. The club, which changed its name several times and in the meantime traded as Kiev-Victoria Park , Inglewood Kiev and Inglewood Falcons , was renamed Inglewood United in 2000. Including 2017, the club played 47 seasons in the major league at the state level.
The greatest successes were winning the West Australian State Championship in 1996 and victories in the West Australian Cup competition in 1977 and 1999.
