Ingo Sass

Ingo Sass (* 1964 ) is a German geologist . Since 2005 he has been a full professor at the TU Darmstadt , in 2009 for geothermal energy . Since 2008 he has also been a professor in Iceland .

Life

From 1984 he studied geology and paleontology at the University of Hamburg . After completing his intermediate diploma in 1987, he moved to the TH Karlsruhe , where he obtained his diploma in hydrogeology in 1990. In 1994 he received his doctorate with a dissertation on wells and filters.

Sass worked as a managing director for FlowTex . In 1996 he founded the journal Grundwasser ( Springer Science + Business Media , ISSN  1430-483X ). From 1996 to 1999 Sass taught at the German Drill Master School. He was then a member of the board of directors of CDM Consult AG until 2005. From 1998 to 2005 he taught at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Karlsruhe.
