Inken Rahardt (* before 1990 in Hamburg ) is a German artistic director , director , author and opera singer ( soprano ).

Life

Inken Rahardt began her training as an opera singer (dramatic soprano) in Hamburg in the early nineties and continued this later, especially in the USA. She sang at different houses until she returned to Hamburg with a slipped disc.

She then studied culture and media management at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater and graduated in 2005 with a very good diploma (children's opera in Germany).

In 2002 she founded the Junge Musiktheater Hamburg together with Yvonne Bernbom, from which the Opernloft developed in 2007 .

Awards

Inken Rahardt's productions of Tolomeo , Carmen and Die Perlenfischer were given special praise at the 2010 Pegasus Prize .

Rahardt's idea of ​​"Electr'Opera" was awarded by the Federal President in 2009 as part of the Germany - Land of Ideas initiative.

In 2010 she received the Rolf Mares Prize for the production of Tolomeo in the Opernloft and again in 2015 for the production of Orlando furioso , also in the Opernloft.
