Pegasus Prize
A Hamburg private theater is awarded the Pegasus Prize every year . It is endowed with 35,000 euros.
The jury consists of seven independent theater journalists and theater scholars who continuously follow the Hamburg private theater scene.
The prize is donated by Exxon Mobil .
On November 1, 2016, Exxon Mobil announced that it would no longer award the award with immediate effect.
