Domestic report

The domestic report was an information broadcast by ORF . The first edition was broadcast on March 27, 1984, moderated by Burgl Czeitschner. The domestic report was broadcast once a week in the main evening program. The series dealt mainly with domestic politics and had the foreign policy counterpart, the foreign report .

It was considered the main political magazine on Austrian television. Numerous scandals were first published in the investigative format of the domestic report. The show was strongly influenced by Peter Rabl . After the international report was discontinued, the program was renamed “Der Report” and finally “ Report ”.

The domestic report also served numerous politicians as a stage for sagas who are still known today. Most well-known are statements by Jörg Haider or others. The Austrian Mediathek provides 477 hits for the search term Inlandsreport .

The domestic report was replaced - together with the international report - by the new magazine Der Report , which was first broadcast on March 7, 1995 .
