Inmaculada Urzainqui Miqueleiz

Inmaculada Urzainqui Miqueleiz (* 1947 in Garde ) is a Spanish Hispanist . She is one of the most famous researchers on the Spanish Enlightenment.

Live and act

Inmaculada Urzainqui Miqueleiz was born in Garde (Navarre) in 1947. She studied philology at the University of Oviedo .

She is Professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Oviedo and was also director of the Instituto Universitario Feijoo de Estudios del Siglo XVIII at this university from 1993 to 2007 . As part of this activity, she was involved in the publication of the critical edition of Feijoo .

Her particular research focus is literature - especially Feijoo and Jovellanos - and the press during the Enlightenment.
