Inner Rhodian Cantonal Library
The Inner Rhodes Cantonal Library is a public academic study and educational library . The cantonal library serves to convey information for the general public and for the needs of teaching and research. It ensures the most complete possible documentation and archiving of published Appenzell information carriers . It collects, indexes and mediates documents on information, training, research, professional activity and education and archives them for the future.
Inventory and use
Books and brochures from 1900 onwards can be borrowed. Older documents (published before 1900), magazines, newspapers and non-book material can be consulted in the research room. The number of documents that can be borrowed at the same time is not limited.
