The Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) or Institute for Aerospace Technology is an institution for training and research with a focus on aerospace technology . The ITA is a government educational institution supported by the Brazilian Air Force . It is located in São José dos Campos in the state of São Paulo in Brazil . The ITA is one of the most prestigious universities in Brazil. A little more than 100 students are accepted each year. The entrance exams are considered to be the most difficult in all of Brazil and are very controversial.
