Instytut Misesa

The Instytut Ludwiga von Misesa (in German: Ludwig-von-Mises-Institut) is a Polish educational and research institute founded in Wroclaw in 2003 .

The institute is named after Ludwig von Mises , one of the leading thinkers of the Austrian School of Economics . The institute sees itself in the tradition of classical liberalism , free trade and the political philosophy of libertarianism . In 2007 the Institut Ludwig von Mises translated Human Action into Polish . This was followed by further translations of a number of important works by Austrian Economics, for example by Jesús Huerta de Soto and Murray Rothbard .

The institute is a member of the economically liberal Stockholm Network .

In addition to the publication of books, the institute organizes several projects, including a summer seminar on the Austrian School of Economics and the networking of several so-called "clubs" of the Austrian School of Economics.
