to teach

His most recognized intellectual contributions include his study of the entrepreneurial function and the impossibility of socialism, which he sets out in his book Socialism, Economic Accounting and Entrepreneurial Function , his further developments of the Austrian business cycle theory , which can be found in his book Money, Bank Credit and Business Cycles , and the theory of dynamic efficiency contained in his book The Theory of Dynamic Efficiency . Huerta de Soto takes the view that the analysis of social reality requires the adequate combination of the following three approaches: theory ( Ludwig von Mises ), history-evolution ( Friedrich August von Hayek ) and ethics ( Murray Rothbard ). Huerta de Soto's works have been translated into 21 languages, including Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic. In German lie with the Austrian School - Market and creativity , money, bank credit and Konkunkturzyklen and socialism, economy, and business function before his works so far three. For Huerta de Soto, anarcho-capitalism is theoretically superior to classical liberalism . He also supports a complete liberalization of the economy and a radical reform of the current financial system: he calls for a return to the gold standard and full coverage of the banks' sight deposits ( reserve rate of 100%). Huerta de Soto shares with other thinkers, such as Murray Rothbard, the thesis that the Salamanca School of Siglo de Oro was a philosophical, legal and economic predecessor of the Austrian School in general and of economic liberalism in particular and thus represents the cradle of it what we now call economics . He is well known in applied economics for his defense of the euro. Huerta de Soto sees the euro as a "proxy" to the gold standard capable of disciplining politicians, bureaucrats and interest groups. Huerta de Soto has succeeded in founding a “school” of young academics and followers, including the doctors Philipp Bagus, Miguel Angel Alonso Neira, David Howden, Gabriel Calzada, Javier Aranzadi del Cerro, Oscar Vara Crespo, Adrián Ravier, Juan Ramon Rallo, Miguel Anxo Bastos Boubeta and Maria Blanco, stand out among many others.
