(The) Integrated Global Atmospheric Chemistry Observations (IGACO) is an internationally oriented research program of UNESCO for the long-term observation of the chemical composition of the atmosphere . Sustainable strategies for environmental monitoring are developed using ground and space-based soundings.

The data collected as part of the Integrated Global Observing Strategy (IGOS) should be made available to the largest possible group of users. 19 international scientists from 12 countries work on the program.
