Intens is a German specialist journal for intensive and anesthetic care .
It has been published six times a year by Thieme Verlagsgruppe , Stuttgart , since 1992 . The print run is 3700 copies. The magazine is aimed at nursing staff in intensive care units , their ward managers and nursing staff . It is the organ of the German Society for Specialized Nursing and Functional Services (DGF). Their newsletter, which has been published since 1985, was absorbed intensively in 2001 . The tables of contents from 2006 onwards are online, the full texts from 2001 onwards for subscribers.
