Inter-Provincial Championship 2017

The Inter-Provincial Championship 2017 (for sponsorship reasons also Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial Championship 2017 ) is the fifth season of the national first-class cricket competition in Ireland, which took place from May 30th to September 7th, 2017. It was the first time that the competition was given first-class status by the International Cricket Council .

format

Each team plays each other twice. There are 16 points for a win, 3 for a draw and 8 points for a tie. There are also bonus points in the first 100 overs in the first innings for successful batting and bowling.
