The women's football department of Inter Milan is since 1 July 2018. Since 2019/20 play the Mailänderinnen in Serie A.
history
The establishment of a women's team was only made possible by a regulation passed in 2015 by the Italian football association Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio , which allows Italian men's professional clubs to set up a women's football department and take over women's football clubs.
The Women's Division of Inter Milan was founded on 1 July 2018 and was the same year in the Serie B start for women after the start right to the second division of the also in Milan -based ASD Femminile Inter Milano acquired.
In the first season they became undefeated champions and rose to Serie A.
