Interactive Advertising Bureau

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is an international trade association for the online advertising industry . According to its own information, the organization represents the interests of companies in the digital advertising and media industry, ensures unification and standardization and thus serves to improve the use of digital advertising channels for advertising customers. For example, it publishes the Transparency and Consent Framework for Consent Management Platforms .

The New York City- based organization was founded in 1996. As of 2017, 42 international sub-organizations are organized under the IAB umbrella. In Germany, the Online Vermarkter Kreis (OVK) in the Federal Association of the Digital Economy is the representation at IAB Europe.
