Lists on the subject

The TEC-9 is a semi-automatic handgun. It was designed by the Swedish arms manufacturer Interdynamic AB , which later relocated its headquarters to the USA in order to be able to better market its products there. The company was renamed Intratec .

Since the TEC-9 could be converted into a fully automatic weapon by simple modification , it was banned in the USA along with other weapons. As a result, Intratec designed a new model called the AB 10 , for which officially only 10-round magazines could be purchased.
