Intergroove was founded in 1995 as a German independent music distributor. The focus was on the genres of electro and hip-hop as well as chart pop music; the seat of the company was in Offenbach am Main. The sales department went bankrupt in 2014. Intergroove mainly sold house and techno labels such as Drumcode, Harthouse, Kanzleramt, Oslo, Raum Musik and Tsuba. The company recently had around 40 employees. However, the hip-hop labels German Dream and Echte Musik were also sold, as well as the Al Massiva label .
