Echte Musik was a Frankfurt independent label founded by Jonesmann in collaboration with Intergroove . The label was dissolved in April 2011.
history
After the rapper Jonesmann split from Bozz Music in 2007 , he and his partner Andre “Chan” Rick founded his own label at the beginning of 2008, called Echte Musik . The music is distributed via Intergroove .
The label's first artists, alongside Jonesmann himself, were long-time companion Blaze, Yassir (who also moved from Bozz Music ), Criz, whom Jones signed as the third person and who many as the best rap talent at the time, at 24 years of age Germany and the producer Lex Barkey. In May 2008, Jonesmann's solo album was released with the title Echte Musik , followed by Blaze's debut album Schocktherapie in August . Section 31 of Yassir came on the market in October 2008. The label's most commercially successful release is the February 2009 collab album by Olli Banjo and Jonesmann, 4 Fäuste für ein Halleluja , which reached number 46 in the German album charts.
In May 2009 the label announced the commitment of the Offenbach rapper's arrest warrant. The first label sampler, Kapitel Eins: Zeit Für Was Echtes , was released on July 24th . In June 2010 the label announced the split from Criz, at the same time Twin was presented as a new member. In September, the label released Twins debut album Dreckig, Eisern und Loyal . Just a month later, Haftbefehl's debut album, Azzlack Stereotype, was released and reached number 59 in the German album charts.
In April 2011, the label was dissolved because Jonesmann withdrew to release R'n'B music under his real name Samson Jones. Andre "Chan" Rick and Haftbefehl founded a new label called Azzlackz , whose first contractual partner was the Frankfurt rap duo Celo & Abdi .
