Twin (* 1984 , bourgeois Sven Christian Hennemann ) is a German rapper from the Hochtaunus district who is under contract with Manuellsen's label König im Schatten .

Career

In his songs, Twin addresses, among other things, his experiences in the red light district and in organized hooligan fights . His name was based on his twin brother. Twin is a member of the Hells Angels charters "West City" and the hooligan group "Brigade Nassau".

His 2016 studio album Auuuf Jetzt! reached number 52 on the German album charts. In 2018 the album Verboten followed , which reached number 28 in the charts.

Twin is also the singer of the crossover band Kanzler und Söhne . The two rappers Mehnersmoos also work as instrumentalists for Kanzler und Söhne. The band released a release on the metal label Napalm Records .

criticism

Following a concert in Frankfurt, the Bild-Zeitung published an article about the concert in which Twin was criticized for the line of text “ Meine Ehre ist Treue ”. This saying was used by the National Socialist SS as a motto. When asked by hiphop.de whether he had said the sentence and whether he was aware of its historical background, Twin replied: “I was aware! However, many sentences have been and are forbidden or assigned to groups! 'Ehre und Treue', for example, I should have said, but in the context: 'I am German, my honor is called Treue, which does not mean I am a Nazi / But keep talking people!' It is forbidden. "

The suspicion of right- wing extremism is reinforced by a guest contribution in 2011 on the album Deutsche Jungs by the band Category C , which is attributed to the right-wing extremist hooligan scene .
