International Council on Educational Credential Evaluation

The International Council on Educational Credential Evaluation (dt. International Council for the Evaluation of Educational Qualifications), ICECE for short, is a legally independent organization with close ties to UNESCO and the Council of Europe and is based in Brussels .

The areas of responsibility of the ICECE include the quality review of private academic evaluation companies, the promotion of and participation in research projects dealing with international higher education and the recognition of educational qualifications, and informing the general public about principles and instruments for the recognition of qualifications. In cooperation with governmental and non-governmental partner organizations, the ICECE regularly organizes conferences and specialist meetings.
