The International Journal of Hydrogen Energy is a weekly, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Elsevier for the International Association for Hydrogen Energy .
The main focus of the magazine is the hydrogen economy , whereby all facets of energy generation from hydrogen such as its production, distribution, storage and use are covered. In addition to physical and technical issues, economic and ecological aspects are also taken into account. Editor-in-chief is TN Veziroglu.
The impact factor in 2016 was 3.582, the five-year impact factor was 3.647. In terms of the impact factor, the journal was ranked 28th out of 92 scientific journals listed in the "Energy and Fuels" category, 7th of 29 journals in the "Electrochemistry" category and 45th of 145 journals in the "Physical chemistry" category ".
