International Motorsports Hall of Fame

The International Motorsports Hall of Fame is the hall of fame of international motorsports . Drivers, team owners and developers of racing vehicles and engines are included.

The International Motorsports Hall of Fame was initiated in 1982 by Bill France Sr. , founder of NASCAR , and is located in Talladega , Alabama , near the Talladega Superspeedway .

Only people who have withdrawn from active sport for more than five years can be accepted. A committee made up of 150 international motorsport journalists will decide on admission.
