International year of cooperation in the field of water
The United Nations General Assembly on 20 December 2010 of its resolution 65/154 in 2013 for the International Year of Cooperation in the field of water explains ( "International Year of Water Cooperation"). It is coordinated by the Economic and Social Affairs Department of the UN Secretariat .
Building on this decision, World Water Day on March 22, 2013 will also focus on the topic of “Cooperation in the water sector”.
