The Intersana is an international health fair that has been taking place almost every autumn since 2005 at the exhibition center in Augsburg . It is considered one of the most important specialist and public fairs on the subject of health in Germany. The new organizer of the trade fair has been the Presse-Druck- und Verlags-GmbH , based in Augsburg , since 2020 .

The exhibitors include companies, health insurance companies, clinics and health organizations. The range of trade fairs is complemented by a large number of specialist lectures.

Up to 2016, an average of around 22,000 visitors came to the fair with up to 350 exhibitors. After a break in 2017, the number of participants dropped to around 16,000 visitors and around 200 exhibitors in 2018. For 2019, the Intersana planned for November was canceled at short notice. However, the Intersana will again take place with a new organization by the Presse-Druck- und Verlags-GmbH from November 19 to 21, 2021 at the exhibition center in Augsburg.
