Invitalia was founded in 1998 as Sviluppo Italia SpA through the merger of various other settlement and business development agencies and was given its current name in 2008. Invitalia does location marketing for Italy worldwide and supports foreign companies with investments and with the establishment of companies and branches in Italy.
