Friedrich von Loesewitz

Friedrich von Loesewitz , ennobled in 1887 (born March 16, 1819 in Karlsburg ; † July 20, 1908 there ; full name Karl Friedrich Christian Ewald Loesewitz ) was owner of the Lentschow manor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Friedrich Loesewitz was a son of the landowner Erdmann Friedrich Leonhard Loesewitz (also Lösevitz ; 1774-1844) and his wife Karoline Frederike Wilhelmine Doehn († August 18, 1864). He attended the Sundisches Gymnasium in Stralsund and the Agricultural Academy Eldena . He then joined the Prussian Army , but left after the death of his father in 1844 to take over his inheritance, the Lentschow manor near Lassan . In 1848/1849 he took part in the suppression of the Baden Revolution in Rastatt as Premier-Lieutenant .

Loesewitz was a member of the district council and district committee of the district of Greifswald , district deputy, member of the district administrative court, as well as head of office since 1874. From 1868 he was chairman (main director) of the Baltic Central Association of Agriculture and the Agricultural Association of Anklam . He was also the main director of the insurance company in Greifswald , a member of the State Economics College and the German Agriculture Council .

On September 16, 1887 he was raised to the hereditary Prussian nobility.

From 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Stralsund District 2 ( Greifswald , Grimmen ) and the German Reich Party . Between 1894 and 1898 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and the Provincial Parliament of Pomerania .

There is a Friedrich-von-Lösewitz-Halle in Lassan .

family

Loesewitz married Maria Wallenius on August 23, 1843 in Greifswald (* January 27, 1824 - † June 26, 1910). The marriage had six sons and three daughters; three of the sons died in the wars of 1866 and 1870/1871 .:
