Iona (also Yona ) is a village in Angola . The Iona National Park, founded in 1937, is well known . It is the largest national park in Angola, ahead of the Cameia National Park .

Iona is the seat of a municipality of the same name (Comuna) in the district ( Município ) of Tômbua , in the province of Namibe . Around 15,000 people live in it (2014 estimate). From now on, the 2014 census should provide reliable population data.

In addition to the town of Iona, there are 13 other towns in the municipality.
