Irene Lichtscheidl-Schultz

Irene Lichtscheidl-Schultz (born June 12, 1955 ) is an Austrian botanist .

Life

She studied botany from 1976 to 1982 and pharmacy from 1973 to 1977 at the University of Vienna. Since 1983 she has been a university assistant at the Institute for Plant Physiology at the University of Vienna. In 1987 she was a Post Doc at the Technical University of Munich . From 1988 to 1989 she was a PostDoc at the University of Massachusetts Amherst . After receiving his PhD sub auspiciis in 1983 as Dr. phil. nat. at the University of Vienna with Walter G. Url and the Venia docendi 1996 ( habilitation ) in anatomy and physiology of plants, specialization in physiology of plant cells there, she has been teaching as a university professor at the University of Vienna since 1996 .
