The irland almanac is an almanac that deals with Ireland and was published by Unrast Verlag from 1999 to 2002 . The focus was on politics, culture and society, which changed every year. The intention of the editors Hans-Christian Oeser , Jörg Rademacher , Jürgen Schneider , Dietrich Schulze-Marmeling and Ralf Sotscheck was reporting 'beyond the mainstream'.

So far, issues have been published on the following topics:
