Iruya municipality

Iruya is a municipality (municipality) in the department of the same name Iruya in the province of Salta in north-western Argentina . In 2001, 4599 inhabitants lived on a community area of ​​2,138 km².

It includes the towns of Iruya , San Isidro , Casa Grande , Rodeo Colanzulí , La Mesada , San Pedro , Matancillas de San Antonio and Rodeo Colorado . The municipal administration is located in the village of the same name Iruya.
