Isla Ratón is a Venezuelan village in the state of Amazonas. It is the administrative seat of the Municipios Autana. It is located on the island of the same name in the middle of the Orinocos. To the west of this island is the border with Colombia.
Isla Ratón has about 3000 inhabitants (2005).
Criollos and indigenous groups like the Curripacos, the Piaroa , the Jivi and others live on the island .

The mayor is José Tomas Correa, from Patria Para Todos . In the 2010 elections for the National Assembly, Patria Para Todos received 54.69% of the vote, versus 35.91% for the PSUV .
