Isolde Wilke (née Linke) (born April 10, 1951 in Leipzig ) is a former German hockey player.

Life

Isolde Wilke learned to play hockey at BSG Aufbau Südwest . This club, which has been renamed Leipziger Sport-Club 1901 e. V. operates, it has remained loyal to this day. With the first women's team in 1971 and 1973 to 1977 and again in 1987 she won the title of GDR champion in field hockey seven times.

From 1978 to 1986 she was a GDR national player and played a total of 52 international matches. This puts it in seventh place in the number of international matches for the GDR women's national team. In 1984 she took part with the GDR national team in the friendship competitions, which were held by countries of the socialist camp as a counter-event to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, and took third place.

Isolde Wilke has two children and lives in Leipzig. Her mother already played hockey, as did her two children and two of her grandchildren.
