Istana Maimun

The Istana Maimun ( Maimun Palace ) is a palace in Medan in the Indonesian province of North Sumatra . The building was built between 1887 and 1891 by order of the Sultan of Deli Makmun Al Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah and served as the official residence of the Sultan for a while.

The building mixes Malaysian, Italian and Spanish architectural elements.
