The Istituto nazionale per l'assicurazione contro gli infortuni sul lavoro (INAIL) , German ( South Tyrol ): National Institute for Occupational Accident Insurance , is the carrier of the statutory accident insurance in Italy and the supervisory authority for occupational safety . It is also active in the field of medical, professional and social rehabilitation. INAIL, founded in 1933, is overseen by the Italian Ministry of Labor and Social Policy . In addition to the head office in Rome, there are branches and branches in all Italian regions .
