István Simicskó

István Simicskó (born November 29, 1961 in Tiszalök ) is a Hungarian politician of the Fidesz - Hungarian Citizens' Union .
Life
From 1991 to 1996 he was a member of the Christian Democratic People's Party ; then he switched to the party Fidesz - Hungarian Citizens' Union. Simicskó has been a member of the Hungarian Parliament since June 1998 . In the Orbán III cabinet , Simicskó was Minister of Defense from September 2015 to May 2018 as the successor to Csaba Hende .
