Isuzu Rus JSC is a commercial vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Yelabuga , Russia .
history
The cooperation between Sollers and Isuzu began in 2005. SKD assembly had already taken place in Russia in 2006. The company was founded in 2007 as a joint venture with the initial name OJSC Severstal-Isuzu (later Sollers-Isuzu ) between Sollers (66%), Isuzu (29%) and Sojitz (5%).
At the end of 2015, Sollers sold its stake to the other two shareholders, which increased their shares to 74 (Isuzu) and 26% (Sojitz) respectively. Isuzu had previously increased its stake to 45%. The name change took place in the following months.
In 2016, 2400 units were produced.
Models
The first vehicle produced was the 5-ton NQR75Р . From 2008 the NLR85 was produced with a payload of 1.5 t.
Series C and E trucks have been produced since 2017.
At the end of 2017, the product portfolio covered commercial vehicles from 3.5 to 33 tons.
