The 1985 Italian Open were a tennis tournament of the 1985 WTA Tour for women in Taranto and a tennis tournament of the 1985 Grand Prix (tennis) series for men in Rome . The women's tournament took place from April 29 to May 5, 1985, the men's from May 13 to 19, 1985.
