The 1987 Italian Open were a tennis tournament of the WTA Tour 1987 for women and a tennis tournament of the Grand Prix 1987 (tennis) series for men in Rome . The women's tournament took place from May 2nd to 10th, 1987 and the men's tournament from May 10th to 17th, 1987.
