Iulius Victor
Iulius Victor (his praenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .
By an inscription at the fort Habitancum was found and dated to 201/300, there is evidence that Victor tribune of Cohors I Vangionum was that in the province of Britannia was stationed. The inscription also shows that he commanded a vexillatio Gaesatorum Raetorum at the same time . Two more dedicatory inscriptions were found near Habitancum , which Victor had erected.
