Ivan Della Mea
Ivan Della Mea (actually Luigi Della Mea ; born October 16, 1940 in Lucca , † June 14, 2009 in Milan ) was an Italian songwriter and author .
Life
Della Mea, who came to Milan with his family as a child, worked there in a factory before gaining initial experience with writing as a journalist.
In 1956, when he also became a member of the KPI , his first album was released as a songwriter, who was to accompany the student movements with his songs and lyrics in the years to come. He was a co-founder of the Nuovo Canzoniere Italiano . His political activity was closely linked to that of his friend Gianni Bosio .
Della Mea, who also wrote for other artists, published three novels in the 1990s. He also wrote the script for the spaghetti western Tepepa with Franco Salinas .
