Ivan Trojan (born June 30, 1964 in Prague , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech actor .

biography

Ivan Trojan is the son of the actor Ladislav Trojan and the younger brother of the filmmaker Ondřej Trojan . He himself has been married to the actress Klára Pollertová-Trojanová , with whom he has four sons, since 1992 . In his youth he played basketball and originally wanted to study sports. Instead, he studied acting at the theater faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague . He completed his military service from 1989 before he was able to establish himself as an actor in theater and film.

In total, Trojan was nominated seven times for the Czech film award Český lev , with two awards each for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor . So far he is the only actor who managed to do this in one year. In 2003 he was awarded as the best leading actor for Snotty Boy and as the best supporting actor for Musím tě svést .
