Ivana Selakov

Ivana Selakov (( Cyrillic Ивана Селаков; born November 8, 1978 in Belgrade , Yugoslavia , present-day Serbia ) is a Serbian singer. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 she appeared as a background singer for the Serbian winner Marija Šerifović .

life and career

Although Selakov was born in Belgrade, she grew up in Sombor . She finished music school, took part in numerous singing competitions and performed in jazz and rock and roll clubs. In 1997 Ivana Selakov began in Belgrade biology to study. She then began studying "Recording and Designing Sound".

She has performed as a soloist at several major festivals and has sung as a background singer for many popular artists. After Marija Šerifović's victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, she was a member of the girl band Beauty Queens, which was founded on it . Since then she has published her productions under the Serbian label and the production company Grand Production .

In 2016 she was a member of the jury for the children's vocal show "Neki novi klinci".
