Kelly Wenham

Kelly Wenham (born November 28, 1983 in Stockport , Cheshire ) is a British film and television actress . She played in several movies, including roles in The Magnificent Eleven , Dracula - Prince of Darkness , Double Date and Tales from the Lodge .

life and career

Kelly Wenham first began as a model before she finally started her acting career in 1999 as a teenager with roles in television series such as Always and Everyone or Where the Heart Is in which she played the role of Jess Buckley in 44 episodes. In the following years she had other appearances in television series such as Coronation Street or in the television series Steel River Blues , where she was seen in 7 episodes as the character of Julie Priestley. In 2006 she played the role of Joni in an episode of the series Life on Mars - Caught in the 70s , where she is allowed to seduce leading actor John Simm .

In 2008 she finally made her feature film debut in a small role as the pretty secretary in Vicente Amorim's romantic war drama Good, starring Viggo Mortensen , Jason Isaacs and Jodie Whittaker . In 2013 she starred as the barmaid starring Josh O'Connor , Joseph Millson , Robert Vaughn and Sean Pertwee in the sports comedy The Magnificent Eleven, directed by Jeremy Wooding . In the same year, she celebrated her breakthrough as a leading actress in Pearry Reginald Teo's horror film Dracula - Prince of Darkness alongside Luke Roberts and Jon Voight . In 2017 she was starred in the horror comedy Double Date, directed by Benjamin Barfoot, alongside screenwriter and leading actors Danny Morgan and Michael Socha . In 2019 Kelly Wenham played the role of Miki in director Abigail Blackmore's black comedy Tales from the Lodge with Mackenzie Crook , Laura Fraser , Sophie Thompson and Johnny Vegas .
