Pearry Reginald Teo

Pearry Reginald Teo (born July 23, 1978 in Singapore ) is a Singaporean film director , screenwriter and film producer . He gained international fame through his feature films The Gene Generation - Death Is Just an Upgrade , Dracula - Prince of Darkness , The Curse of Sleeping Beauty - Sleeping Beauty and The Assent .

life and career

Born in 1978, Pearry Reginald Teo began his career in the 2000s as a director, screenwriter and producer of short films, of which Liberata Me , Children of the Arcana and Take Me Somewhere Nice each received festival awards. His 2007 first feature film, the science fiction production The Gene Generation - Death is Just an Upgrade with Bai Ling , Alec Newman , Parry Shen and Faye Dunaway was honored with the Grand Jury Award at the San Francisco Indiefest. The two horror productions Necromentia and Dead Inside followed in 2009 and 2011 . In 2013 he finally directed the horror film Dracula - Prince of Darkness with Luke Roberts , Kelly Wenham and Jon Voight in the leading roles. In 2015 he directed the comedy How to Make a Deal with the Devil with Shannen Doherty . In 2016 he made the two mystery films The Curse of Sleeping Beauty - Sleeping Beauty's Curse with the cast Ethan Peck , India Eisley , Natalie Hall and Bruce Davison as well as Ghosthunters . Another horror thriller followed in 2019 with the film production The Assent with Robert Kazinsky in the lead role, with him as a screenwriter and director.
