Robert Kazinsky (* 18th November 1983 in Haywards Heath , England as Robert John Appleby ) is a British actor and model . He became known for his role as Sean Slater in the British soap opera EastEnders and the role of Macklyn Warlow in the vampire series True Blood .

Life

Kazinsky was born to Phyllis and Paul Appleby and grew up in Brighton .

He attended the Guildford School of Acting from 2002 to 2005 and subsequently adopted his grandfather's middle name as his stage name. He first appeared in Israeli commercials . He made his acting debut in 2005 as a guest star on an episode of the CBBC children's show The Basil Brush Show . He then took on a role in the soccer drama Dream Team from 2005 to 2006 . He gained national fame for his role as Sean Slater in the popular British soap opera EastEnders . For this role, which he played from 2006 to 2009, he was nominated for several television awards for soap operas.

In the sixth season of the HBO series True Blood , he took on the lead role of Macklyn Warlow . He played well in 2013 in Guillermo del Toro - 3D - science fiction and action film Pacific Rim , the role of Chuck Hansen . In the 2016 film Warcraft , he took on the role of Orgrim.

Kazinsky has an older brother and is fluent in Hebrew .
