Jeremy Wooding (* 1969 in Northampton , Northamptonshire ) is a British film director , screenwriter and film producer . He achieved international fame through feature films such as Bollywood Queen , The Magnificent Eleven , Blood Moon and Burning Men .

life and career

Jeremy Wooding, who was born in Northampton in 1969, has only made various short films since 1997 before directing the romantic musical Bollywood Queen with Preeya Kalidas, James McAvoy and Ray Panthaki in the leading roles in 2002 . In 2013, the sports comedy followed in the cast Josh O'Connor , Joseph Millson , Robert Vaughn , Sean Pertwee and Kelly Wenham . A year later, Wooding realized the horror thriller Blood Moon with George Blagden in the lead role. Blood Moon ran at various international festivals. At the Portuguese film festival Fantasporto , it was nominated for the International Fantasy Film Award in the Best Film category. In 2019 he directed the drama Burning Men starring Edward Hayter, Aki Omoshaybi and Elinor Crawley.

In addition to his work in film, Jeremy Wooding has also directed episodes for various British television series, including the popular British comedy series Peep Show with David Mitchell and Robert Webb .
