Ivan Sarbakov

Ivan Sarbakow ( Bulgarian Иван Сърбаков ) nickname Want Scholars (bulg Ванчо Сърбаков;. Macedonian / Serbian : Ванчо Србаков / Vančo Srbakov ? *; † 24. April 1905 near the village of Cer) also Want Scholars Sarbaka (bulg Ванчо Сърбака.) called, was a voivode and Chetnik of the Bulgarian Macedonia-Adrianople Revolutionary Committee (BMARK for short) and fought in the Ilinden-Preobraschenie uprising (1903) and the attack on Kičevo against Ottoman rule. He comes from the Macedonian village of Vraneštica (Вранештица, today in the Republic of Macedonia). His brother Christo Sarbakov also fought with him .

After the Ilinden Preobraschenie uprising, he fled to the capital of liberated Bulgaria , Sofia . A little later, however, he returned as a fighter in Georgi Popchristov's chta in the area around Kičevo.

In January 1904 he fought together with Dame Gruew against the Serbian propaganda in Macedonia.

On April 24, 1905, he died with the leader of the uprisings in the region Christo Usunow in the fight against the Ottomans near the village of Cer.
