Ivyanets
Iwjanez ( Belarusian Івяне́ц , Russian Ивенец , Polish Iwieniec ) is a Belarusian community in the Waloschyn Rajon in Minskaja Woblasz . It is located in a hilly and wooded area on the Wolma River . It has been known since the middle of the 15th century as a privately owned settlement of the Sollohub family.
Personalities
- Wincenty Dunin-Marcinkiewicz lived here in his manor house from 1840 and wrote most of his works there.
